Research interests

General interest in method development and analytical techniques for the detection and quantification of a broad range of chemical compounds, with a particular interest in emerging environmental pollutants.

Background

I hold a background in Chemistry and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, where I also completed an MSc in Analytical Environmental Chemistry in 2019. Following my graduation, I worked at NTNU for two years, before I joined NVI in 2020, initially working on the analysis of fish scales using LA-ICP-MS. In 2025, I relocated to Ås, where I am currently involved in different projects utilizing LC-MS/MS for the determination of various types of toxins.

Ongoing projects

ShellFeed – Risk assessment of algal toxins in new marine feed sources for salmon
GreenBait – Progress toward environmentally safer rodenticides
