Research interests

General interest in veterinary toxicology; occurrence, exposure, effect studies, toxicokinetics and risk assessment of various natural toxins and contaminants.

Background

Cand. med. vet. from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (1988). Doctoral degree from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (1994, “Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs): Studies of biological effects of selected compounds and determination of residue levels”). Researcher at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute since 1995.
